Well, this little fella was just sitting by the bank of a stormwater run-off ditch. Not wanting him to be swirled away during a storm, I adopted him and gave him a home. No muss, no fuss, no vet bills or food ills to worry about.

I named him Crock short for Cat Rock to give new meaning to commonly used phrases like “that’s a crock”.

So Crock’s here to stay as part of September’s Escape Adulthood project. Enjoy!

I knew Crock (Cat Rock) was getting lonely without me being around 24/7 so I sought other companions. Enter Dough. Dough is such a dear and became a ray of sunshine for Crock. Me? I didn’t have fa to go to sew up this relationship. I asked Dough and he said “La Tea!” which everyone knows means “fantastic!”…well, according to Dough-ish languages at least. So there you have it Dough-Ray-Me-Fa-Sew-La-Tea-Dough. Sounds like music, hunh? Second EA assignment complete!

Way Too Serious…Or Not

PLAYI have been reading and observing a lot about the “lost” art of playfulness in our lives, and the real benefits of looking at life through the eyes of play. Reflecting on it, it seems that we become educated away from play; we begin to separate play times from work times and begin the process of dying from terminal professionalism once we enter the marketplace (although granted there are some companies that encourage creativity, silliness, playfulness, and lightheartedness while continuing to get the work done).
